Research on Noise Control and Noise Reduction Methods for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems

TCL Air Conditioner (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd., Zhongshan, Guangdong Province, China Abstract: The noise sources of refrigeration and air conditioning systems are divided into two categories: mechanical andaerodynamic.The formeroriginates from the friction,colision,and vibrationof equipment components,while thelater is generated bythe interaction between airflow,equipmentand pipelines.Noise controlincludes sourceoptimization,propagation blocking,and terminal protection.Source ontrol reduces noise through frequencyconversion and structural optimization; Blocking propagation utilizes acoustic materials and structural design; Terminal protection and compensation ensure noise reduction while maintaining system performance.Noise reduction measures involve equipment selection and installtion,pipelineacoustic optimization,integrated design of motors and compresors,and vibration isolation and vibration reduction, etc., to comprehensively reduce system noise.
