Building Management Center of Gaoling District，Xi'an， Shaanxi Province，71O299 China Abstract： For old urban areas，they are also an extremely critical component of urban development to a certain extent.Due to the relativelylong construction time of old urban areas，many problems may arise in thelong-term development process，such as poor drainage facilities during operation.Once heavy rainfalloccurs，there willalso be a large amount ofaccumulated water，which poses a significant threat to the normal travel of nearby residents and the safety ofbuildings.In order to beter improve this problem，many cities havealso increased their attention tothe renovation of rainwater and sewage diversion during the development proces.At thesame time，in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the renovation work and further improve the qualityand effciency of the renovation，it is alsonecessary toanalyze potential problems inadvanceand developtargeted solutions.Onlyby maximizing the benefits of the renovation can it ensure the smooth operation of the rainwater and sewage diversion system.
