2.College ofCivilEngineering,Nanjing Forestry University,Nanjing,Jiangsu Province,21oo37China Abstract: To address the shortcomings of traditional cement in terms of high resource consumption and carbon emisions,and to promote the transformation of civil engineering materials towards green and low-carbon,this study proposes the use of MgO- fly ash-portland cement, composite curing agent to carbonize and reinforce soil. A preliminary investigation was conducted into the effects ofthe composite curing agent ratio and carbonation time on the physical and mechanical properties ofloes.The results indicate that after7days of curing,the sample quality slightly decreased; After carbonation, the sample massincreases in the order of MgO> portland cement>fly ash,and the unconfined compresive strength increases with carbonation time;Fly ashand cement played a dominant role in strength development during the curing period; During the carbonization stage,MgO makes a significant contributiontothe development of strength.This studyclarifies theroleof theMgO-flyash-portland cement composite curing agent in soil stabilization,and provides parameter basis and technical reference for reducing the useof traditional cement in geotechnical engineering practice.
