Research on Common Defects in Welding Seam of Building Steel Structures and Magnetic Particle Testing Technology

Abstract: This research analyzes the causes,characteristics and hazards of common defects in welding seams of building steel tructures,and discusss the principles,advantages and limitations of magnetic particle testing.Bycomparing the efectiveness of magnetic particle testing andultrasonic testing,the research verifies the high efciencyof magnetic particle testing in the screening of surface and near-surface defects.The research concludes that magnetic particle testing has an important value in the quality control of welding seams in construction steel structure,which is of great significance to improve the qualityof the projectand structural safety,and itcan provide a reference and optimize the testing processforthe relevant testing work in the industry,and promote the high-quality development of the construction steel structure industry.
