Integer Programming-driven Layout and Efficiency Optimization of Automotive Production Line Equipment

【Abstract】Currently,theautomotive manufacturing industryis facing thedemands forflexible transformationand effciency upgrade.The traditional experience-driven layout of production lineequipmenthas problems such as spatial redundacy,logisticscongestion,andcapacitymismatch.This paperintroduces theinteger programming theory,focuseson the threecore demandsof space-effcient allocation,leancontroloflogisticscosts,anddynamicadaptationof production capacity,and constructs an integer programming model based on spaceconfiguration,logisticspath,and production capacityadaptation.Combined with practical cases such as car assemblyand productionofbatery fornew energyvehicles, the modelis verified.The results show that this modeling approach can effectively improve spaceutilization,reduce logisticscosts,anddynamicallbalanceproductioncapacityanddemand,providingtheoreticaland practicalsupportfor thetransformation from experience-based decision-making to data-driven decision-making in automotive manufacturing.
