Influence of Automotive Transmission Gear Repair Shape on Transmission System NVH Performance

【Abstract】 With the development of automotive power system towards electrification and quietness, the transmission,as thecore assemblyof power transmision,hasbecomeanimportantindicatorofthequalityof the whole vehicle,suchasnoise,vibration,acousticvibrationroughness,andotherperformances.Theinteral excitationgenerated by gear meshing is the maincauseof gearbox whistlingand shaking,andreasonable tooth micro-shapingcaninhibit such excitation and improve thesmoothnessof transmision.This paper mainly focuses on the mapping relationship between gear trimming parametersand the NVH performanceof the gearbox system level,and builds upa special testplatform for semi-anechoicchamber to systematicalystudythevibration responseand soundradiationcharacteristics under diffrent trimming strategies.The results show that the composite reshaping based on the elastic deformation ofthe system can significantlyreduce the time-varying meshing stifnessfluctuationof the gear pair,andreduce the meshingfrequencynoise ofaspecificorder.Itis expectedthatthe findingsof thispaper canprovide theoreticalsupportanddatareference forthe engineering application of low-noise gear design for transmission.
