Abstract:The"carbonpeakingandcarbonneutrality"goalsrepresentapivotalinitiativeinChina’sglobalclimateaction, whileimposingnewdemandsonhighereducationinstutionstocultivatetalentandadvancetechnologicalinovationinthisfield. AsacorecuriculumforMasterofEnvironmentalScienceandEngineeringstudents,thecourse"TheoryandTechnologyof AtmosphericPolutionControl"hasundergonepedagogicalreforms.Thisstudyexplorescurriculuminnovationsthroughthree dimensions:instructionalcontent,teachingmethodologies,andassssmentsystems.Thecurrenthottopicsofairpolutionrsearch areaddedtotheteachingcontent,andinordertomettherequirementsofthe"carbonpeakingandcarbonneutrality"goalfor thecultivationoftalentsinthenewera,theteachingofcarbonmonitoringmethodsandthepreparationofcarbonpolution fusioninventoryareadded.Theteaching methodadoptsdiversfiedmixedteaching mode,includingthematicteaching,case teaching,theintegrationofscientificresearchachievementsintoclasroom teachingandthecombinationofclassroomteaching andpractice.Thecourseevaluationadoptsacombinationofprocessevaluationandresultevaluationforcomprehensive evaluation,whichnotonlyinspectsstudents‘theoreticalknowledgebutalsotheirpracticalabiltyThereformintiativeprovides freshapproachestocultivatingprofesionalswithboththeoreticalexpertisendresearchcapabilities,oferingfreshperspctivesfor talent development in this critical domain.
