Abstract：Undertheguidanceofconstructivismteachingtheory，thispaperhascariedoutin-depthreformsintheteaching contentofthecourse"Concrete Structures".Takingconcretecolumnsasanexample，a teaching methodbasedonactual seismic damagecaseanalysisisproposed.ThroughadetailedanalysisofthedamagephenomenaofconcretestructuresintheWenchuan earthquake，thisarticleemphasizestheactiveleamingandknowledgeconstructionprocessofstudents，aimingtoenablethemto deeplyunderstandthestresscharacteristicsandmaterialpropertiesofconcretestructures，mastertheirfailuremechanismsand damagecontrol methods.ThispaperelaboratesontheaplicationofConstructivism Theoryinvariousaspectssuchasteaching contentdesign，teachingprocessimplementation，andteachingevaluation，anddemonstratesitsimplementationefectthrougha completeteachingcase.Thedevelopmentofthisstudynotonlyenrichestheteachingcontentofconcretestructures，butalso provides new ideas for teaching reform and practice in higher education.
