Abstract:Undertheguidanceofconstructivismteachingtheory,thispaperhascariedoutin-depthreformsintheteaching contentofthecourse"Concrete Structures".Takingconcretecolumnsasanexample,a teaching methodbasedonactual seismic damagecaseanalysisisproposed.ThroughadetailedanalysisofthedamagephenomenaofconcretestructuresintheWenchuan earthquake,thisarticleemphasizestheactiveleamingandknowledgeconstructionprocessofstudents,aimingtoenablethemto deeplyunderstandthestresscharacteristicsandmaterialpropertiesofconcretestructures,mastertheirfailuremechanismsand damagecontrol methods.ThispaperelaboratesontheaplicationofConstructivism Theoryinvariousaspectssuchasteaching contentdesign,teachingprocessimplementation,andteachingevaluation,anddemonstratesitsimplementationefectthrougha completeteachingcase.Thedevelopmentofthisstudynotonlyenrichestheteachingcontentofconcretestructures,butalso provides new ideas for teaching reform and practice in higher education.
