Abstract：Thispaper focusesontheperformanceofsomecollgesanduniversies indisciplineconstruction，andreveals thecurrentsituationoflocaluniversitiesintheprocessofdisciplinedevelopmentthroughtheanalysisofthenationalranking， totalscore，starrankingandschoolruinglevelofaseriesofuniversities.Theresultsshowthattherearesignfcantdiferences intheachievementsofdisciplineconstructionindiferentcollegesanduniversies.Somecollgesanduniversitieshaveshown theiradvantagesinworld-renonedhigh-leveluniversitiesorworld-classuniversitieswithhighoverallscoresandstarrankings， whileothersarestllinthestageofmovingtowardsChina'shigh-leveluniversitiesorChinasfirst-classuniversities.This reflects thatlocaluniverstiesarefacing manyproblemssuchasunevenresourcealocationanddependenceondevelopment pathsindisciplineconstruction.Clarifyingstrategiessuchasfirst-classdisciplineevaluationstandardsandinnovatingdiscipline constructionsystemsisofgreatsignificanceforlocaluniversitiestobreak throughthedilemmaof disciplineconstruction.
