Abstract:Thisstudyaddressesthechallengesintraditional "DataVisualization"course withindatascienceprograms,such asfragmentedknowledge,disconnetionfromcutingedgetechnologicalapplications,andthedificultyforstudentstotrastion from"plotting"to"insight".Acuriculumreformpracticedrivenbyknowledgegraphsisproposed.Thisstudyfollowsthe integrativeconceptof"datavisualizationastheshellandknowledgegraphasthesoulaimingtodeplyembedthesemantic asociationsandstructuredthinkingofknowledgegraphsintothecourseframework.Amultidimensionalcourseknowledgegraph covering"concepts,metods,applications,andases”iconstructed,liningdisretevisualizationknowledgepontswithoplex graphdata modelsina meaningful way,thusreshaping thecoursecontentstructure.Thefocusoftheteaching shiftsfrommerely chartgenerationskillstocultivatingstudentshigherorderabiliesinassociativereasoningandnarrativeexpressonwithn complexknowledgenetworks.Thisresearchprovidesafeasiblepathandempiricalcaseforthecurrculumreformofdata science-relateddisciplines,demonstratingthesignificantvalueofthe"soul-drivenshell"teachingmodelincultivatingdata science talents with deep analytical capabilities.
