Abstract:Hydrolyticacidification pretreatment experiment wascarriedout with sludge hydrothermal carbonization filtrate a the research object.By controling operational parameters such as hydraulic retention time (HRT),pH,and temperature, efects of hydrolytic acidification pretreatment on COD,volatile fatty acids (VFAs),and nitrogen forms were systematicallyevaluated.The results indicated that hydrolytic acidification had favorable pretreatment effecton thehydrothermalcarbonization filtratewastewater,effctivelyconverting dissolvedorganic nitrogen (DON) inthe liquid into NH4+ and transforming macromolecular organic matter into small molecular acids.The accumulation rate of VFAs inthe hydrolytic acidification reactor was primarily influenced by temperature and HRT, while the conversion of DON was mainly affected by HRT and pH .The temperature affected the treatment efficiency, but had little effect on thefinal treatment efect. Considering operational costs,it was recommended to control the reactor at a pHof 6.0~6.5 0 a temperature of 30° ,and an HRTof 16h .Under these conditions, the average COD removal rate was approximately 6.5% ,theaverageVFAsaccumulation ratewas 86.95% ,and the average DON removal ratewasabout 72.19% Approximately 82% of the removed DON wasconverted into NH4+ :
