Abstract:To alleviate the shortage of natural sand resources,using 0~30% fly ash instead of fine aggregate, the performance of concrete was tested by using slump,setting time, compressive strength,chloride ion penetration resistance and freeze-thawcycle as key performance indicators.Theresults indicated thatatflyash replacementrateof 15%-25% ,the slump of the concrete increased from 69.1mm to 76.7mm .Meanwhile, the 28-day compressive strengthimproved from 39.3MPa to 41.3MPa ,and the 9O-day compressive strength reached 48.7MPa Simultaneously, the electric flux of 28-day sample decreased from 2270C to 1762C .After100 freeze-thaw cycles, samples with 20% replacement rate maintained relative dynamic modulus of 90.2% and exhibited mass loss rate of only 1.26%
