Abstract: The kinetic viscosity of light distillate oil at was measured by a glass capillary viscometer. In order to evaluate the reliability of measurement results more accurately,a corresponding measurement model was established, and themain sources of uncertainty and their influencing factors wereanalyzed in depth.According to thestandard Evaluation and Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement (JJF1059.1—2012),each uncertainty component was quantified,andtheelativestandarduncertaintyoftestresults wassynthesized.Finaly,theelativeextendeduncertainty wascalculated and the corresponding evaluation results were given. The results showed that the measurement uncertainty of kinematic viscosity of light distillate at 40° mainly came from measurement repeatability and viscometer constant. The extended uncertainty of the kinetic viscosity (40∘C) of light distillate oil was U=0.082 (2 (k=2) !
