Abstract:Tomeetthedemandsofintensiveproductionandinjectioninoffshoreoilfieldsand toextendtheeffctiveness of measures,quatermized PDMAEMA-b-PAM block copolymer sand control agent was prepared using ATRP-controlled polymerization technology. Based on this,performance evaluation and mechanism analysis were conducted,and the field test was carried out in an oilfield in Bohai Sea.The results showed thatthe prepared sand control agent exhibited excelent flocculation andself-aggregation effects,the median particle size of the formation sand increased to 126.145μm after treatment. The permeability damage was minimal, with permeability retention rate of 83% after treatment. The critical sand production flow rate was high,and no sand production was observed under displacement flow rate of 30mL⋅min-1 . The quaternized PDMAEMA-b-PAM block copolymer sand control agent was successfully applied in the Bohai Sea oilfield, demonstrating significant sand control effectiveness.
