Construction of a Smart Teaching Model for "Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing" and Cultivation of Professional Competence in the Information Age

Abstract: This study employs the BOPPPS teaching theory as its framework. This theory, grounded in constructivist learning theory and communicative methodology,comprises six stages: Bridge-in,Objective/Outcome, Pre-assessment,Participatory Learning,Post-assessment,and Summary/Closure.Its modular and interactive characteristicsalign wellwith thecourse's attributes of integrating "theory,practice,and syndrome differentiation." Accordingly,theresearchconstructs asmart teaching model:theBridge-instageutilizes digital scenarios tostimulate interest; Objectives areset ina tiered manner to anchor professional competence; Pre-assessment accurately diagnoses the starting point of learning; Participatory Learning adopts a blended "online + offline" interactive approach to depen competencies; Post-assessment employs diversified evaluations to test effectivenes; and the Summary stage systematically reviews and reinforces knowledge transfer. Simultaneously,relying on virtual simulation technology, case-based teaching,and collaborative teaching strengthens students'professional practical skils,syndrome differentiation thinking,as wellas humanistic and collaborative abilities.This modeladdresses the shortcomings of traditional teaching,improves the quality of training for TCM nursing profesionals,provides support for disciplinary teaching reform,and also ofers areferable example for medical courses in terms of "technology assisting teaching, and teaching serving the profession."
