Research on an AR Based Immersive Safety Training and Hazard Management System in the Power Industry

Abstract: With the continuous expansion and increasing complexity of the power industry,traditional safety briefing and training methods are no longer able to met the requirements of modern power systems for safety and efficiency.This study aims to develop an immersive safety training and hazard management system based on Augmented Reality (AR) technology to improve the safety management level and training efectiveness in the power industry. The system integrates virtual information with real scenes through AR technology,achieving full process safety disclosure of work tickets/operation tickets,bus room safety disclosure, equipment switch safety disclosure, and other functions.The system adopts 3D scene display,navigation,data synchronizationand other technologies to provide an intuitive and interactive safety training and hazard management experience for power operators.The effectivenessand practicality of the system have been verified through functional testing, performance testing, and userexperience evaluation.The research results indicate thatAR based immersive safety trainingand hazard management systems can significantly improve the safety management level of the power industry,reduce accident rates, and improve training efficiency.
