Abstract:In recent years,China’s power industry has developedrapidly,andhigh-voltage distribution systems play an important role in social production.The protection mechanism of early high-voltage distribution systems was relatively backward,withcommon problems such as slow response speed and low fault handling eficiency,frequent equipment failures,and lowsystemreliability.In viewof this,thisarticle takes intelligent protection technology as the research direction, with the goal of creating anew generation of inteligent distribution systems. It analyzes the application direction and specific methods of intelligent protection technology in high-voltage distribution systems,comprehensively upgrades and transforms existing protection mechanisms,and promotes the development of distribution network protection automation to a higher level.
