Research on the Construction ofa Multimedia Classroom Equipment Management System Based on Internet of Things Technology

Abstract:With the deepening of educational informatization construction,the types ofmultimedia clasroom equipmentare increasing day byday.Traditional manual management faces chalenges such as difculty inreal-time monitoring of equipment status,delayed fault response,and inefficient maintenance.Theannualoperation and maintenance cost accounts for 15% of the total equipment value. This paper constructs a classroom equipment management system basedon Internet of Things (IoT)technology.The systemadopts athree-layer architecture consisting ofa perception layer,a network layer,andanapplication layer.The perception layer uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)and multiplesensors toachieve device identificationand status monitoring; The network layer adopts a hybrid network of Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi6;The application layer implements fault warning based on deep learning algorithms and supports WebSocket remote control.The pilot application of the system in 30O multimedia classrooms at a certain university has shown that the response time to equipment failures has been shortened to 30min management efficiency has been improved by 43% ,and annual operation and maintenance costs have been reduced by 35% ,providinga reliable technical solution for educational informatization construction.
