Abstract： In recent years， generative artificial intelligence technology has been experiencing an explosive growthakin toa "singularity"，exertingasignificant impactonthe traditional paradigms of education，particularlyin ideologicaland politicaleducation.New media，centeredaround information technology，has broughtaboutchanges incollege students'cognitive habits，informationacquisitionchannels，andtheshapingof their lifevalues.This paper explores the endogenous driving forces，paths，and methods forthe innovative developmentofideologicaland political education empowered by generative artificial intelligence，as wellas the constraints under the current technological and regulatory conditions.
