Abstract： Artificial Intelligence （AI） has emerged as a pivotal new technological pathway for enterprises to enhancetheir innovation capabilities.This paper analyzes the empowerment mechanismand pathways ofAI in the digital transformationofsmalland medium-sized enterprises （SMEs），and proposes strategies with significance for strategic planning and organizational capacity building.These strategies aim to asist SMEs in implementing AI applications，effectively improving their inteligent capabilities，and thereby strengthening theircorecompetitiveess.
