Abstract： Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics is an important compulsory general education course for non-mathematics majors.However，due to itsabstract theories and numerous concepts，students'interest in learning this course is generally low.In the teaching process，the reasonable use of Artificial Intellgence （AI） and Matlab softwarecan effectivelyreduce theabstractnessofthecourse content，improve thequalityof teaching，cultivate students'independent exploration abilityand creative thinking，and enhance their understanding of mathematical culture. This provides a new breakthrough in cultivating students' autonomous learning concept.
