Abstract：Thetraditionaldefinitionof“ureteralstricture”folowingureteroscopicproceduresissomewhatambiguous，whichmay affecttherelabilityandcomparabilityofoclusisfrorelatedsudies.Toaddressthis，thisprospectiverandomzedconoledstudy enrolled53patintstoevelonoperatioaldftionfor“ueteralstricture”thaticoporatedsmptoms，betieiagngfindings，andexclusionitea.Underthisdefiitiodataaalysisindicatedtatteincidenceofsrictureincreasdwithprolongdstent indwelling time （incidence rates of 4.0% 7.7% ，and 15.7% in the three groups，respectively；trend test P<0.05 ）.Notably，a simulationanalysisshowdthataplyingaorelenentdefiitioenderedteaforemetiondstatisticallysignificantdifereceoiificant.Theresultsofthissudyiitiallconfiredtatitisofgreatvaluetodefethecoresientificandtechologicaltersinclical research，andthepotntialcorrelationbetwenstentretetiontieandstenosisiskalsoprovidedabreakthroughpointfoutheploring the role of terminology standardization in revealing clinical laws.
