SWOT Analysis and Strategic Study on the Development of Mountaineering in China

School of Physical Education，Shandong University，Jinan， Shandong Province， 25o62 China [Abstract] This article employs the methods of literature reviewand SWOTanalysis to systematically study the advantages， weaknesses，opportunities，and threats of the current development of mountaineering in China，and to explore optimizationpath to promote its high-quality development based onthis.The study finds that mountaineering in China possesss prominent advantages in terms of natural resources，policy support，and cultural and spiritual conotations，but there are stillobvious shortcomings in infrastructure，safety governance，and profesional talent cultivation. From the perspective of the external environment，policy drivenand industrial structure upgrading， depening international exchanges and enhancing the influenceof event brands，and therapid development of digital technology have brought numerous opportunities to mountaineering; However， natural climate change，increasing pressure on the ecological environment，and fragmented industry regulation poseareal threats to its development.In response to the above situation，the following promotion strategies are proposed： constructing smart mountaineering infrastructure and ecological protection systems，promoting green mountaineering culture and related concepts， improvig talent cultivationand scientific study innovation mechanisms，and strengthening safety governance and legal protection systems.
