GansuUniversity of Chinese Medicine，Lanzhou，Gansu Province，73o1O1 China [Abstract] The spirit of sports plays a positive role in shaping the well-rounded personality and professional competence of vocational colege students.This paper focuses on the application value of integrating the spirit of sports into the curiculum ideologicaland politicalconstruction ofvocational physical education，aiming toexplore the implementation path of the organic integration of the two.Bysystematically analyzing the connotationand characteristics of sports spirit and ideological and political education，the important valueof sports spirit in shaping students'sound personality， deepening the functionofcurrculumeducation，and cultivatingprofessonalcorecompetencies isclarified.Theresearch proposes aspecific path toconstruct an integrated curiculum contentsystem，innovate teaching methods and means， strengthentheconstructionofthe teaching staff，and improvethevalueshaping mechanism，inordertopromote the continuous deepening developmentof curiculum ideological and political education in higher vocational physical education.
