Application of Smart Wearable Devices in College Swimming Teaching

JinzhongUniversityof Information，Jinzhong，Shanxi Province，O3o8oo China [Abstract] This study explores thevalue，dilemmas，andoptimization strategiesof applyingsmart wearable devices in specialized swimming teaching attheuniversitylevel.The research finds that theapplication ofsmart wearable devices inuniversityspecialized swimming teaching carres significant value，including：quantifyingand decomposing technical movements to accurately correct technical deviations; eabling scientific quantification toadapt to personalized teaching needs; providing real-time early warnings to strengthen teaching safety; breaking spatial and temporal boundaries to construct a hybrid teaching closed loop; and empowering autonomous learning to stimulate initiative in training. However，the application of smart wearable devices in specialized swimming teaching also faces chalenges in terms of cost investmentand resource alocation，technicaladaptabilityand environmental interference，data privacyand ethical norms，integration withteachngandfacultytainng，as wellasesource integrationandcoaborativesupport.Toaddres theseproblems，this study proposes targeted optimization strategies acrossfive dimensions：loweringapplication bariers and procurementcosts，improving technical maturityand anti-interference capabilties，preventing privacy breaches and data misuse，promoting in-depth integration of technologyand teaching，and establishing a diversified support system.The aim is to achieve high-quality development of specialized swimming teaching in universities.
