Schoolof Physical EducationandHealth，Longnan Normal University，Longnan，Gansu Province，7425ooChina [Abstract] Currently， there are many problems in badminton teaching and training in somehigher education institutes， such as a lackofhierarchical design inthe teaching system，insuficient professional competenceamong teachers， inadequate guarantee of venue facilities，and a laggingconstruction of competition systems.In response to these challenges，this paper starts with the necesity of carrying outbadminton teaching and training in higher education institutes that are in line with the core demands of students'comprehensive development，promoting the effective implementationofthevalueof physical education inhigher education institutes，and fosteringapositiveand healthy campus sports culture atmosphere.Combined with the educational goalsof physical education in higher education institutes，itanalyzesanddiscuses strategies tooptimizethelevelofbadmintonteachingand training，suchas establishing a hierarchical teaching system，strengthening the construction of teaching staff，consolidating the guarantee of venue facilities，and improving competition operation systems，providing practical references topromote the high-quality development of higher education institutes badminton and supporting the dual objectives of sports skils teaching and sports spirit cultivation.
