Comparative Analysis of Standard Addition Method and Internal Standard Method for the Determination of 1,4-Dioxane in Food Contact Detergents by HS-GC-MS

Abstract: To optimize the detection method of1,4-dioxane in food contact detergents,this paper systematically compares the performance diferences between the standard addition method and the internal standard method in terms of limit of detection (LOD),precision,accuracy,detection efficiencyand operation difficulty,and puts forward he key precautions for the test operation.With blank food contact detergent samples as the matrix,spiked recovery tests are carried out at low,medium and high concentration levels.The results show thatthe average recoveryrate of the standard addition method is 95.1% 2 103.9% ,and the relative standard deviation ( SRSD , n=6) of the measured values is (204号 1.04% ( 3.85% . For the internal standard method, the average recovery rate is 98.9 % 2 104.8% ,and the SRSD (n=6) of the measured values is 0.36% 2 1.06% . The LODs of both methods are lower than 2.5 mg/kg, meeting the requirements of relevant standards.This paper can provide important reference for the method optimization of1,4-dioxane detection, laboratory quality control and the expansion of CMA qualification.
