Research on the Current Status, Existing Problems, and Optimization Countermeasures of Food Sampling Inspection

Abstract: Food sampling and inspection is a key technical measure to ensure food safety and an important tool for regulatory authorities to prevent risks and safeguard public health.This paper takes China's food sampling and inspection practices as the research subject.By combining the technical support practices of various local fod and drug inspection centers,and through reviewing sampling processes,analyzing inspection data,and investigating regulatory scenarios,it systematically identifies four core issues in China'scurrent food sampling and inspection: inadequate samplerepresentativeness,low technical adaptabilityforspecial categories,unequalalocation of inspectionresources, and insufficient application of inspection results.Addressing the root causes of these issues,the paper proposes countermeasures from four perspectives: optimizing sampling design,improving technical standards,integrating inspection resources,and strengthening closed-lop management of results, providing practical reference for enhancing the effectiveness of China'sfood sampling and inspection and reinforcing the national food safety defense.
