Abstract:Underthedualimpetusofanewtechnologicalrevolutionindustrialtransformationandthenationalpromotioof newengineeringeducationforestryengineeingfacesacriticalchallenge.Asacoredisciplinesupportingtheupgradingof China'sforestryindustryandecologicaldevelopment，itsconventionaltalenttrainingmodelnolongerfullymetsthegrowing demandfor innovatie,practicalandinterdisciplinaryprofesionals.DrawingonreformexperiencefromtheCollgeofMaterials EngineringatFujianAgricultureandForestryUniversity，thisstudyexaminescurrentisuesinforestryengineringeducation withinthenewengineringframework．Thestudyexploresvitalstrategiessuchasindustryacademiaresearchintegration, collborativementorship,andpracticalsystemrestructuring.Weproposeaninovativetalentdevelopmentmodeltructuredaround fourkeydimensions,includingcuiculumredesign，deeperindustryeducationcollboration，structureddevelopment,andpractice empowerent.Thestudyalsosummarizesachievedoutcomes，providinganactionableframeworkformodernizing forestry engineering education to beter meet industrial demands and improve the quality of talent cultivation.
