Abstract：Thenewroundoftechnologicalrevolutionandindustrialtransformationhasposednewchalengestothecultivation ofengineeringtalents.Theconstructionof"NewEngineering"hasthenemerged.Cultivatingalargenumberofoutstanding inovativeengineeingandtechnologicaltalentsisanurgenttask.Talentsundertheeducationof"NewEngineeing"shouldhave abroadintemationalperspective，strongengineringliteracyandoutstanding innovationabilityAcordingly，theautomation specialtyurgentlynedstoupgradeandimprovethecurrentteachingmodeandculiatingmethodsenhancetheintegrationof industryandeducation，strengthenideologicalandpoliticalconstruction，anddeepenthecrossdisciplinaryintegrationbetween majors.Thegoalofthestudyistocultivatehighqualitycompositetalentswithstrongpracticalability，inovationabilityand international competitiveness.
