Abstract:Thispaperanalyzesissuesintraditionaleducation,includingthedisconnectbetweetheoryandpractice,and introduces thethreecore principlesof the Outcome-BasedEducation(OBE)approach.Basedon OBE,thestudyproposes practicalmeasuresintheenergyandpowerengineeringcourseMeasuringandTestingforThermalEnergyEnginering,including student-enteredgoalseting,integrationoftheoryandpractie,adiversifiedevaluationsystem,andenhancedinovative education.Thesemeasuresareexpectedtoimproveteachingqualityandstudentcomprehensiveabilties,providingusefulinsights forthe reform and practice of energy and power engineering courses in Chinese colleges and universities.
