Abstract:Duetoitsunique practicalandapliednature,mining engineeringcourses place higher demandson both teaching andstudentskils.Thispapertakesthetypicalcourse"RockFormationControlSimulationTechnology"asanexampletoanalyze theteachingchalengesinminingengineeringeducation.Basedona"student-centered,competency-based"teachingphilosophy, thispaperproposesfourstrategicshiftsincuriculuminovation.Thestudyadoptsanapproachcombining"specializedtextbooks, virtualsimulationexperiments,andMOOCleaming,"deeplyintegratingoineandoflineteaching,andblendingvirtualandreal learningexperiencestobuildacomprehensivecuriculumsystem.Byoptimizingeducationalphilosophies,improvingteaching methods,inovatingexperimentalmodels,andreformingassessmentsystems,andrelyingonthedemonstrationgrasrotsteaching organizationsofShanxiuniversitiesandnational-levelvitualsiulationcourses,thecoursehasestablishedcontentcenteredon" strengtheningcompetence,engineeringpractie,andfosteringinovation."Thisapproachemphasizespersonalizedstudentgrowth andtheenhancementof practicalengineringskils.Throughacomprehensiveanddiversifiedevaluationsystem,thecuiculum achievesa"student-centered,"ubiquitous,andindividualizedlearningmodel.Teachingpracticesandfeedbackshowthatthe coursereformhasachievedremarkableresults,providingvaluableinsightsandpracticalexperienceforbuildingfirst-classmining engineering curricula.
