A Study of the Integration of Ideological and Political Education and Life Education in Private Colleges and Universities

—A Case Analysis of the Three-Dimensional, Six-Domain Perspective of A Private University

Abstract: The integration of life education into ideological and political education is particularly important in private colleges and universities. This paper, based on a questionnaire survey, analyzes and interprets the relevant issues from three core dimensions of life education—length, breadth, and height—and six major domains: safety and health, cultivation and interpersonal relations, career planning, and value and belief. It explores pathways for integrating life education into ideological and political education in higher education institutions, with the aim of encouraging private universities to place greater emphasis on life education, guiding students to cherish and love life with a sense of gratitude, and thereby motivating them to actively strive to create value in their own lives.
