Red Sports Culture During the Yan'an Period

—A Three-Dimensional Examination of Theoretical Origins， Practical Evolution，

and Intrinsic Characteristics

Abstract： During the Yan'an period， the Communist Party of China integrated sports with revolutionary needs， comprehensively armed the military and the people both physically and mentally， and facilitated the development and maturity of red sports culture on the basis of inheriting early red sports experiences. Its theoretical origins contain three layers of logic： the endogenous inheritance of Marxism， the innovative absorption of excellent traditional Chinese culture， and the epochal creation of the Communist Party of China. Its practical evolution encompasses three dimensions： the practical need for talent cultivation， the pressing demand of revolutionary struggles， and the innovative implementation tailored to local conditions. It demonstrates the construction of the spirit of revolutionary struggle， the spirit of collectivism， and the spirit of self-reliance， as well as the epochal advancement of ideological education and the popularized and innovative development of red sports culture.
