Exploring the Visual Development of Tianjin Dialect IP from the Perspective of Cross-Media Communication

Abstract: This paper treats the Tianjin dialect itself as intellectual property (IP) and analyzes the content of IP products related to the Tianjin dialect in visual art design from the perspective of cultural cross-media communication. Drawing on the principles of communication studies, this paper reviews the phenomena and characteristics of contemporary cultural cross-media communication, outlines the evolution and distinctive features of the Tianjin dialect, and analyzes the reasons for its widespread popularity and its advantages in communication. Based on specific cases, this paper analyzes the application principles of Tianjin dialect IP visualization and elaborates on its communication strategies and approaches from the perspectives of cultural dissemination and innovative development. This paper hopes to provide conceptual references for the current development of local cultural IP by exploring effective ways to utilize high-quality local IP resources.
