Abstract：Improvingthequalityoftalenttrainingisanimportantgoalintheconstructionofscienceandtechnologycolleges. ThispapertakestheWheat ScienceandTechnologyCollegebuiltbytheAgriculturalCollgeof HenanInstituteofScienceand Technology（HIST，aka"Bainong"）asanexample，andsummarizestheconstructionbackgroundof thescienceandtechnology colege，thepostgraduatetrainingmodelofthecolege，theexperienceandresultsgained，andfuturedevelopment.Thisaticle presentsstrategiesemployedbySTDfornurturinggraduatestudentswithadepafectionforagriculture，strongscientific researchablities，andhighcomprehensivequalitiesundertheleadershipofthe'"Bainongspirit".Thisarticlesupportsthe cultivation of high-qualityappliedtalents who"understandagriculture，loverural areas，andlove farmers"intheSTB.
