Exploring the Construction of New China’ s National Image in the Early Period of the People' s Republic of China

Abstract：IntheearlyperiodofthePeople'sRepublicofChina，faced withthecomplexsituationofadevastateddomesticeconomy awaitingrecoveryandaninteational“ironcurtain”blockade，Newhinafocusedonrestoringanddevelopingthenational economyand people'sliveliods，exploringnatioalimageconstructionacrossmultipledimensions：poltical，economic，culturalandsocalis paperarguesthatsonstructionasprmarilymanfestedinfourdimensios：polially，stablishngthesstemofpople'sdeoatic dictatorshipandabolishingthprivilegesofforeignpowers；economically，cofiscatingbureaucraticcapitalandlayingthefoudatiofor publicownership;culturally，integratingteulturalndeucatioalsysteandelimatingdeepotedsocialils；diploticaly pursuingte“startinganew”（lingqiluzao）policyandother majorprinciples，whiledemonstratingtheimageofaresponsiblemajor countrythroughtheKorean War，theGenevaConference，andotherinternationalengagements.Thesepracticesnotonlyfostereddomestic recognitionofthnewegimebutalorokethroughWesteisolation，gaduallyompelingteinteatioalcmmunitytotakeNewCina seriously，therebyproviding historical inspiration for theconstructionof international discourse power inthenew era.
