Abstract The educational environment in today's society is constantly changing, with new changes and characteristics intheobjects,environment,and workforce ofideologicaland political education inuniversities.Based on practical experience,it is known that innovative development of ideological and political education in universities can promote high-qualitydevelopmentof partybuilding work,further enhance citizen quality,andhelp strengthen the country's cultural soft power.Its importance is self-evident.Thearticle is basedona practical perspectiveand problem oriented,proposing innovativepaths forideologicaland politicaleducation inuniversities in the new era, in orderto improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education in universities.
