AbstractClarifying the influencing factors and mechanisms of the professionalcompetence of science teachers in Guangxi brder primary schols is the key to improving the quality ofscience education in Guangxi border areas. Through a survey ofscience teachers in Guangxi border primary schools, it was found that the profesional competence of science teachers in Guangxi border primary schools is influenced byboth external (training,school,policies)and intemal (professional background,professional identity)factors,with "insuficienttraining targeting","non-professional background,and "low schoolatention" being the main obstacles; The characteristics ofborder regions not only bring challengesofresouresarcityutalsoontainuiqueadatagesofrosbodercultralandeologicalresourcsttey havenotbeen effectivelyutilizedat present;Thelowprofessional identityandself-efficacyof teachersconstrain their initiative in professional development.The article proposes tobuild alocalized training system and create atiered growth paththat is tailored totheactualsituation at the border;Strengthen schoolsupportand policy incentives,and build a development guaranteenetworkforborderscience teachers;Explorecross-borderresources,enhance teachersprofesonal identity and self-efficacy, and activate the endogenous motivation of border science education.
