Research on the Application of Edge Computing Gateway in the Design of Fire-Fighting Robots

Qingdao Aoxi Intelligent Technology Co.,Ltd.,Qingdao, Shandong Province,2664Oo China Abstract: Modern science and technology has been widelyused in thefirefighting industry,among which firefightingrobots have made significant contributions by virtue of their distinct advantages.As special robots,firefighting robots have played a keyrole in many large-scale fires and become an important force in the firefighting industry. However,currentfire-fighting robotsarestill plaguedbysuch issues asdelayed informationsharingandthe inabilityto achieve remote monitoring.To solve the above problems,this paper proposes a solution that incorporates edge computing gateways into the robot design process,and conducts practical application of this solution in firefighting robots.It is found that edge computing gateways can realize robot data upload and remote monitoring through5G network,which has achieved theexpected design goals,enhanced theenvironmentaladaptabilityoffire robots,and expanded their application functions.
