Research on Construction Technology of the Superstructure of Small-Span Suspension Bridge in Mountainous Areas of Southwest China

Abstract: To improve the backward transportation conditions in the mountainous areas of Southwest China,more and more large bridges are being constructed.In the terrain of "narrow valleys and deep gorges" with steep banks on both sides,smal span suspension bridges have demonstrated unique application advantages due to their excellent spanning capacity and seismic performance.To accelerate the construction progressof smallspan suspension bridges in mountainous areas and reduce construction costs,this paper conductsan analysis and research on the design and construction of the superstructure ofsmallspan suspension bridges in mountainous areas,optimizing key construc tion technologies such as the traction system,catwalks,main cable erection,and cable suspension construction, which is conducive to cost reduction and eficiency improvement and has good application and application value.
