Abstract: Accurate carbon emission data is the basis for low-carbon emission reduction of coal-fired units. Compared with the accounting method, the actual measurement method has the characteristics of direct and real-time, and can directly upload data to the management platform. Based on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) numerical simulation method, the flow field simulation was carried out on the flue in front of the main discharge outlet of the chimney, the change trend of flue gas flow rate and carbon dioxide concentration was analyzed, and appropriate sections were selected as the basis for the layout of measuring points. Since the relative standard deviation of the flow rate distribution is relatively large, the flow rate is determined to be measured at multiple points, while the relative standard deviation of the concentration distribution is very small, and the concentration is determined to be a single point measurement point. The two are combined to finally obtain the current carbon emission value of the unit through the flue gas flow and carbon dioxide concentration.
