Abstract：Regardingtheissueofcracksinmasonyinfillwallofsteelstructures，thispapertakesakindergartenprojectina provincialunifiedloanprojectforshantytownrenovationinacertaincityasacasestudy.Itanalyzesthemechanismofcrack formation，withafocusonexploringthecausesofcracksduetothediferencesinphysicalpropertiesbetweensteelandmasony materials.Combinedwithengineeringpractice，preventivemeasuresareproposed，includingtheuseofETRPANcladdingtorepair exteriorwallracks，flexiblematerialstotreatcracksatthejunctionsofinfllwallwithsteelbamsandcolumnsandtandardized instalationoftiearsandreinforcementconectionsforstructuralcolums.esemeasuresfectivelysuppressackpropagation enhancethestabilityanddurabilityofthewallstructure，andmeetarchitecturalappearanceandregulatoryrequirements.The researchfindings provideareferenceforpreventing andaddressingcracksinsimilar steel structuremasonry infill walls.
