Abstract：Basedonthe659setsoficedataon5diferentkindofconductorobservedatthesiteoftheErlang Mountain Icingobservatory，thispaperanalyzesthegeneralrulesofstandardicingthicknessanddiameter，andcombinedwiththeexisting conversiomodeloficeacretion，anewcalculationformulaisproposed.Thatis，diferentcalculationformulasareselectedfor diferentstandardicingthicknessintervals.Afterverification，theabsoluteerorvaluebetwenthecalculatedthmeasuredofthis method isin the range of-2.3mm to 2.1 mm，and the maximum absolute erroris 5.5% ，which is less than the method in DL/T 5158-2021"Technicalspecificationformeteorologicalsurveyofelectricpowerengineering".Theresearchresultscanbeusedas areference for ice thickness in the differentiated design of overhead transmisson lines.
