Abstract：ThispaperimplementsthesegmentationofmarineandlandareasinSARimageusingtheOTSUthreshold segmentationmethod，mathematicalmorphologicaldilationanderosionoperationsaremployedtoaddressfasealarholesinthe segmentationresultscausedbyspecklenoise，surfacefeaturediversity，andotherfactors，obtainingacontiuousroughcoastline thatusesastheinitialcontourfortheSnakemodelTheclasicSnakemodelisimprovedtoanon-closedmodelstatehatis moresuitableforcoastlineextraction，theROEWAedge detectionalgorithmisusedtoestablishanewandmorerobustenergy fieldtoreplacethetraditionalextealgradientenergyfield，andthegredyalgorithmisusedtoapproximatethecoastlineand finally a more accurate coastline is obtained.
