Abstract:Thepurposeofthispaperis tofindthebestfactorsandtheoptimalcombinationafecting thesteelconsumption ofroof purlins.Bydesigningorthogonalexperimentstheinfluenceoftheepurlinfactors,namely,purlinspanpurlinspacingand purlinsteematerial,onthemeansquarestelofsteelpurlinsunderthreediferentlevelsisstudied,andthemostfavorable purlinfactorlevelforreducingsteelconsumptionandthesignificanceandcontributionrateofeacharefoundoutthrough variance analysis. Finally, optimization design suggestions are proposed for reference.
