Abstract：Ninggeng-7isnewigqualityfragrantndgutinousricevarietydevelopedbyeIstituteofCropSienesingia Academyof AgriculturalandForestrySciences in2O16through hybridization with12GJ-1237（glutinousrice）asthefemale parent and1487（long-grainfragrantice）asthemaleparent.ItwasapprovedbytheCropVarietyApproval CommiteeofNingxiaHui Autonomous Regio in2O22.Thisvarietyhascompact plant type，gooduiformityofthepopulation，strongresistancetolodging， moderateresistance torice blast，andafullgrowth periodof152days.Itisamedium-late maturing varietyandissuitablefor moisture-retaining dry direct seedingand transplanting in theYellow River irrigation region of Ningxia.
