Abstract:Toinvestigatetheefectsofsiliconfertiizerappicationtimingonriceyieldandgrainquality,Liaogeng-40was usedastheexperimentalmaterial,andthreeapplicationstagesweredesignedforcomparison.Theresultsindicated that applyingsiliconfertlizeratdiferentgrowthstagesoficeimprovedphotosyntheticeficiencyrootactivityyieldandgrain qualitytovaryingextents,whilereducingtheincidenceofsheathblight.Applicationduringthebotingstage(D3) significantlyenhancedtheseed-setingrate,panicle length,andnumberoffledgrainsperpanicle,whereasapplication duringthetileringstage(D2)effctivelyincreasedthe1,OOo-grainweightandthenumberofproductivepanicles.These findingssuggestthatoptimizingthetimingofsiliconfertlizerapplicationaccordingtovarietalgrowthcharacteristicscan serveasa practical strategy for achieving both high yield and superior quality inrice production.
