Clinical Efficacy of Jinshuibao Combined with Dapagliflozin in the TreatmentofElderlyDiabeticKidneyDisease

MACuicui，DINGLi Department of Geriatrics，Xuzhou Cancer Hospital，Xuzhou 221ooo， Jiangsu， China [Abstract]ObjectiveToexploretheclinicaleficacyofJinshuibaocombinedwithdapagliflozininthetreatmentof elderlydiabetic kidneydisease （DKD）.MethodsFrom March 2023 to March 2025，106 elderly DKD patients admitted to Xuzhou Cancer Hospital were selected. They were divided into the control group （ n =53）and the study group （ n =53） based ondiferent treatment methods.Both groups received routine basic treatment.The control group was treated with dapagliflozin，whilethestudy group was treatedwith Jinshubaocombined with dapagliflozin.Therenalfunction， blood glucose levels，and traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） syndrome scores of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment，the levelsof serum creatinine，blood ureanitrogen，andcystatin-Cin both groups decreased， and those inthestudygroup werelowerthanthoseinthecontrol group，andthediferences werestatistically significant （all P<0.05 ）.Aftertreatment，the fasting blood glucose，2-hour postprandial blood glucose，and glycated hemoglobin Alc levels in both groups decreased，andthose in the study group were lowerthan those inthecontrol group，the differenceswere statistically significant （all P <0.05）.After treatment， the TCM syndrome scores of both groups decreased，and those inthe study group werelower than thoseinthecontrol group，thediferences were statisticall significant （all P <0.05）.Conclusion The treatment with Jinshuibao combined with dapagliflozin can promote the recovery of renal function in elderly DKD patients，lower blood glucose levels，and improve TCM syndrome.
