Effect of Self-care Mode on Postoperative Blood Glucose Control， Selfcare Ability and Quality of Life in Patients with Gastric Cancer Complicatedwith Type2DiabetesMellitus

[Abstract] Objective To analyze the effect of self-care mode in patients with gastric cancer complicated with type 2 diabetes melitus afteroperation.Methods A total of11O patientswith gastriccancer complicated with type 2diabetes mellitusadmited totheQuanzhou First Hospital from Januaryto November 2O24 were selectedastheresearchobjects.All patientsunderwent laparoscopicdistal gastrectomy.After operation，the patients were divided into control group and observation group according to diferent nursing methods，55 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing，andtheobservation groupcombined with self-care mode.Blood glucose control，self-care abilityand qualityoflife were compared betweenthe two groups.Results After intervention fasting plasma glucose and 2- hour postprandial plasma glucose levels in the observation group were lower than those of the control group，and the self-careabilityandqualityoflife werehigherthanthoseofthecontrol group，thedifferences were statistically significant （all P <0.05）.Conclusion The application of routine nursing in such patients has a certain effect，but there are stillimitions intheimprovementof blood glucosecontrolandother indicators.Theself-caremodecan furtherimprove the patient'sself-careability，improve theefectof blood glucose control，and improve the qualityof life.
